‘Science, Technology and the Military’
This year’s annual ICOMAM conference will take place at the National Army Museum, London, on 30 September – 1 October 2024 on the theme of ‘Science, Technology and the Military’.
The conference is jointly organised and co-hosted by the Royal Armouries and the National Army Museum.
Delegates will be able to register at the National Army Museum in Chelsea during the afternoon of Sunday 29 September 2024, with an exclusive drinks reception at the Tower of London in the evening.
The conference will take place at the National Army Museum, with a series of panels and discussions over two days. Delegates will be able to spend the afternoon of Tuesday 1 October visiting other museums in London.
A post-conference tour will start on Wednesday 2 October, spending the first night in Leeds and the second night in Reading, before concluding at Heathrow on Friday 4 October. Special visits and guided tours during the trip include the National Army Museum Stores, the Royal Armouries, Kenilworth Castle, Bletchley Park, and Windsor Castle.
